DESCRIPTION:This concert will present selections written by 2 of the all time giants of the music industry; Leonard Bernstein and John Williams. For Leonard Bernstein\, Suncoast Concert Band Music Director Bob Stoll has chosen the overture to his operetta  “Candide”\, Danzon from his ballet “Fancy Free” and several selections from his musical “Westside Story” \nSelections written by John Williams will include Olympic Fanfare and Theme; commissioned by the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Committee. Also performed will be themes that Williams composed for the movies E.T.\, Jurassic Park\, Star Wars and Jaws.
